Hadrian Ring

$4,500

This ring is inspired by the still-standing Hadrian Wall in northern England along the River Tyne, an ancient Roman fortification over 70 miles long. The emerald and baguette cut diamonds allude to the rectangular stones cut and built, piece by piece, then painted to reflect the sunlight to make it visible for miles. Approximately 0.65 total carat weight. Set in 14K yellow, white or rose gold. Please contact us for customizations.

We love a 5-stone ring here at Vale because of the versatility of the design. Whether it features a larger center stone with smaller flanking stones tapering in size with much smaller stones, or even if they’re all the same size, a 5-stone ring allows you to mix and match not only cuts, but also types of stones and shapes. It’s a playful and elegant way to create a strong statement ring.

This ring style came into vogue during the Victorian era and often used all diamonds but variations on the 5-stone ring style incorporated other types of gemstones. The Victorians used this style to create special layouts because they believed that the 5 stones represented love, friendship, trust, commitment and loyalty. This made them the ideal engagement ring.

The 5-stone ring as a marker of a 5-year milestone also make this a perfect 5-year anniversary symbol.
