Each piece we create is made with care, intention, and the hope that it becomes something truly cherished.

We understand that needing a repair can feel frustrating and stressful— especially when your jewelry holds personal meaning or is part of your daily life. The truth is that wear and tear is a natural part of owning something well-loved.

Please know that we're here for you. Whether it's a small fix or a more detailed restoration, our team is committed to restoring your piece to its original beauty. Craftsmanship, quality, and care are at the heart of everything we do — and that extends to how we support you long after your purchase.

Warranty

We’re committed to helping you care for your handcrafted Vale piece. To that end, we offer a warranty for all items.

3-Month Warranty Coverage

Every Vale piece is thoroughly inspected before it leaves our studio. In the rare case that a manufacturing issue arises, your jewelry is fully covered by our 3-Month Warranty from the date of purchase.

Repair Timeline & Cost

Most repairs can be completed within 5–7 business days at a minimal cost once your 3-month warranty has expired. Please note that repairs due to wear and tear or damage caused by the wearer are not covered under the warranty.

What’s Covered:

  • One complimentary resizing within 6 months of purchase
  • Repair of broken prongs
  • Replacement of missing accent stones
  • Repair of a broken band or shank

What’s Not Covered:

  • Loss or theft of the ring
  • Damage to the center stone or loss of center stone
  • General wear and tear

Jewelry Insurance

Our warranty does not cover loss, theft, or significant damage. For full peace of mind, we highly recommend insuring your jewelry. You can do this through a trusted insurer like Jewelers Mutual, or by adding a rider to your existing homeowners or renters insurance. Contact your provider to find out what’s needed to properly protect your piece.

Warranty Details

Clients are responsible for round-trip shipping costs for both warranty and out-of-warranty repairs or inspections. We’ll provide a fully insured UPS shipping label for your convenience, and pick-up services via UPS or FedEx are available upon request. For items valued over $2,000, a signature will be required upon delivery for added security for these shipments.

Please note: any work performed by a jeweler outside of Vale, including resizing, will void your warranty.  

All Repairs

If your piece needs attention after the warranty period, we're still here to help. Vale offers repair services beyond the warranty, with pricing assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the repair. Reach out to us, and we’ll guide you through the next steps. You may contact info@shopvale.com with an image of the piece needing repair and someone will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

Lifetime Service

We warmly invite you to schedule an appointment at our studio and showroom to have your piece professionally inspected. Our expert team will examine your ring under magnification using a loupe, carefully checking the integrity of the setting and ensuring all stones are secure. We’re pleased to offer a free light cleaning service for all diamond pieces, helping your jewelry sparkle like new. Please allow approximately 5-10 minutes for this cleaning.

This service is complimentary, but appointments must be booked in advance. We highly recommend an annual inspection to catch any potential issues early. A quick 10-minute check can help prevent common problems like loose prongs, cracked bands, or chipped stones—keeping your jewelry beautiful and secure for years to come.

We also offer an annual cleaning service for $75 which includes a polishing, boiling and steaming which can restore your ring to its just-off-the-bench condition.
